
INSTRUCTION
Saxophone and Woodwinds
Cliff Massie is a graduate of Brandeis University, Waltham Massachusetts. He has been teaching and performing on the saxophone (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone) for many years. He studied with Joseph Allard (Julliard, New England Conservatory), Warne Marsh and has had master classes with Lee Konitz. He teaches all levels of both the Classical and Jazz NYSSMA repertoire. He has had many successful students who have been selected to perform in the All- Eastern, All-State and All-County NYSSMA concerts. He teaches all age levels with students ranging from 6 to 70 years old. He has extensive knowledge of saxophone sound production and repertoire. He is a member of the first Island Trees Music Hall of Fame induction, along with Eddie Money. In high school he also attended the Nassau Boces Cultural Arts Program, which is now the Long Island High School of the Arts where he studied with Julliard graduates Mario Truglio and Paul Rudoff. Cliff continues to play and perform on many recordings. He has his own personal professional recording studio where he records his various Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock and Soul compositions.

Guitar and Bass
I have studied guitar with Larry Meyer, Sal Salvador and Carmine D’Amico. I teach Electric, Acoustic, Jazz and Classical guitar, as well Electric and Double Bass.
